Lemon Pecan Cookies

You will need:

• 1cup of butter flavor Crisco shortening
• 1 and 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
• 3 cups flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 cup chopped pecans

Starting from the top add ingredients and mix well with mixer or by hand and add nuts last.  Bake by spoonfuls about 2 inches apart unto a cookie sheet lightly sprayed with vegetable spray.  Bake for 10 to 12 min. on 350 degrees or until lightly browned, remove from oven and cool for 4 min. then remove.

These cookies make a nice gift and are so yummy!
