Strawberry Jell-o Pretzel Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 3 tbsp. sugar, plus another 3/4 cup sugar
- 1, 8oz. package of cream cheese, softened
- 1, 8oz. container of Cool Whip
- 2, 3oz. packages of strawberry Jell-o
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2, 10oz. packages of frozen strawberries
- 1, 8oz. can of crushed pineapple, drained
- Cool Whip for topping
Crust:
Mix pretzels butter and 3 tbsp. of sugar together and press
into a 9X13 inch baking pan or casserole dish and bake for about 7
to 8 min. on 400 degrees. Remove and cool.
In a mixing bowl beat the cream cheese with the 3/4 cup of
sugar and then fold in the Cool Whip and spread over cooled
crust.
In another bowl dissolve the Jell-o in the boiling water and
allow to cool slightly then add the strawberries and pineapple and
pour over the cheese mixture and refrigerate until it is
set.
Sever with a dollop of Cool Whip on top.
