Pound Cake

In a mixer or mixing bowl combine these ingredients:

• 3 sticks of butter
• 3 cups of sugar
• 3 cups sifted flour
• 2 pinches of salt
• 1 shot of Rum or 1/3 cup of Whiskey
• 3 tsp. of vanilla butter nut flavoring by Mc McCormick
• 5 eggs, added one at a time beating after each one

Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 min. or so until cake is done.
