New York Cheese Cake

Crust for 9 inch spring form:

  • 3 tbsp. butter melted
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Press into a spring form pan and slightly up the sides as well and bake at 325 degrees for 10 min. and cool if using a metal spring form pan.  If using a dark non stick form then bake at 300 degrees for 10 min.

Filling:

  • 4, 8 oz. packages of Kraft original cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 extra large eggs

Cream ingredients together in a mixer on med. speed adding eggs last one at a time until creamy and smooth.  Pour into crust and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 5 min. to 1 hour and 10 min.  or until the center is almost set if using a silver spring form.  Bake at 300 degrees for an hour and 5 min. or 1 hour and 10 min. or until the center is almost set if using a dark non stick  spring form pan.

Run a knife or metal spatula around the rim of cake to loosen and cool.  Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or over night and top with what ever fruit or topping you like.
