Lemon Lust
Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts ( I use pecans)
- 2 tsp. sugar
Mix these things together for the crust and press into a large
casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 to 20
min. Crust should be light golden brown.
Next layer:
- 12 oz. of softened cream cheese
- 1 and 1/2 cups of powdered sugar (10X)
- 1 and 1/2 cups Cool Whip
Mix together and spread on cooled crust and set in freezer for
about 10 min.
Next, mix 3 packages of instant lemon pudding with 4 and 1/2
cups of milk and whip until not too thick and pour immediately
over the cream cheese mixture. Set in refrigerator for 10 to
15 min.
Spread some more Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with sliced
almonds or graham cracker crumbs. Or substitute real
whipping cream for the topping for an even richer taste.
