Cheesy
Beef and Macaroni Supper
In a large
electric skillet or in a large skillet on the stove, brown 3 lbs. of
ground chuck and ½ large sweet onion chopped, 1 tsp. salt and ½
tsp. black pepper.
Add 1 can (14 ½
oz.) of whole tomatoes chopped with juice and all, 1 tbsp.
Worcestershire sauce and ¼ cup tomato
catsup, reduce to low heat and simmer for about 15 min.
In a medium
sauce pan heat salted water to boiling and then add 2 cups macaroni
pasta and cook to al dente stage and drain.
Pour pasta into
hamburger mixture and stir. Slice
a brick of Kraft Monterey Jack cheese and place slices over the meat
mixture. At this time
turn off heat add a lid and let set for a little while till cheese
is melted through the meat mixture.
Serve with salad
and rolls. How easy is
that?
