Easter Ham

I use a Kuntsler ham and I score the top with a knife in triangular squares and put in roasting pan with 1/2 inch of water.

Then I take 1 can of pineapple rings and decorate the top of the ham with pineapple rings.  You can hold them on with tooth picks and I put maraschino cherries in the middle of each ring and pour the pineapple juice that's in the can over the ham.

Then I take a 1 lt. bottle of Canada Dry ginger ale and pour it over the ham and sprinkle ground cloves on top and put the lid on and bake in the oven on 325 degrees for a bout 1 and 1/2 hours or so till I see the scoring on top separate slightly.  Then I know it is done.

It's the ginger ale that makes it so juicy.  Enjoy!!
