German Style Cucumber Salad
- 4 nice size cucumbers peeled and sliced thinly
- 1 small bundle of spring onions chopped finely
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup of fresh dill weed chopped ( you can also use 1 tsp.
dried dill weed )
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sour cream
In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix gently with
clean hands or utensils. Taste to see if there is enough
salt or if any of the other seasonings or vinegar need to be tweaked.
Serve ice cold from the refrigerator. Great in the
summertime!
