Lemon-Pepper Chicken Sauté

  • 1 and 1/4 tsp. of lemon pepper seasoning salt by McCormick
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup baby carrots, quartered lengthwise
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp. flour 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes

In a large skillet melt butter over medium heat.  Rub chicken breasts with lemon pepper seasoning and sauté 7 to 10 min. per side or until done.  Remove from skillet and keep warm.

Add carrots and onions to skillet for 2 more min.  Whisk together flour and broth and pour over vegetables.  Bring to boil and simmer for 2 min.  Add sour cream and parsley and simmer for 2 more min.   Spoon over chicken.  Serves four.
