Ribs with Cherry Cola Barbeque Sauce
- 5 to 6 lbs. pork baby back ribs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (I use Kraft original)
- 1/4 cherry preserves
- 1 can, 12 oz. of Cherry Cola
- 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 to 2 tsp. of hot sauce
Heat oven to 350 degrees . Cut ribs into serving size and
rub with salt, garlic powder, pepper, and ginger. Place in
baking pan and cook for 1hour and 30 min. or until tender.
Meanwhile in a sauce pan bring all other ingredients to a boil
and reduce to med. low and simmer uncovered for about 30 to 40
min. until slightly thickened.
Grill ribs over med. heat for 10 to 15 min. brushing on both
sides with sauce, turning occasionally. Serve ribs with
leftover sauce. Serves 6.
