Beef Sirloin Tip Stew (For the Grill)

Note:  this recipe can also be done in the oven on 450 degrees for 30 to 35 min.

  • 4 sheets 12X8 inches of heavy duty Reynolds Aluminum foil
  • 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak 1/2 inch thick
  • 4 red potatoes cubed or 16 small red potatoes whole or halved
  • 1, 16 oz. package of peeled baby carrots
  • 1, 12 oz. jar beef gravy
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Turn grill on high then reduce to med. high heat.  Cut steak into 1/2 inch cubes.  Spray foil with nonstick vegetable spray.  Put an equal amount of beef, carrots, and potatoes in the center of each sheet of foil.  pour 4 oz. of the gravy over each and sprinkle with onion salt and pepper.  Note:  I save left over gravy from roast beef when I have extra and freeze it to use in recipes like this one.

Bring up foil sides and double fold to seal packet leaving room for heat circulation on all four sheets.  Place on grill and close lid for 14 to 16 min. and stir before serving.

Not only is this an easy meal but a quick one, too.  Very good and serves 4!

ENJOY!!
