Moni Lutz, singer/songwriter/performer/publisher,
began her love for music as a small child. As she
grew, she enjoyed singing for family, church and
other projects. As Moni began writing songs in
1985 with the help and direction of a friend and
mentor, Dennis Moore, she won a few local song
writing contests.
In 1997, Moni developed congestive heart failure,
with only 15% of normal heart function. In 2002, she
went into arterial fibrillation and was rushed to Johns
Hopkins Hospital with a heart muscle function of less
than 10%, making her a a candidate for a heart
transplant. In April 2006, her conditioned improved and
so is no longer on the Heart transplant list.
"Now I go out and spread the gospel of Jesus
Christ through my testimony and songs. Someday He'll
have a new heart for me; if not here on this earth,
then, up in Heaven. There I will be His servant forever;
and, you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way!
