Hot
Crab Dip
Here is a favorite of mine that I like to
make at Christmas time for munching while we
are all decorating the Christmas tree. I
usually double the recipe for parties and
get-togethers. It is absolutely delicious
and I have yet to taste a better one.
Spectacular
Taco Dip
Everyone goes crazy for this wonderful
Mexican dip at my church. It comes from my
sister Ute and is sure to be a hit with any
one. Ute and her husband Frank always made
it for our 4th of July family reunions every
year.
Spinach
Balls - Mustard Sauce
This recipe comes from my cousin Hans
Jorg's wife Cheryl and her Mom Trish. They
made it for a Bieler family reunion in New
Jersey. I have been making it ever since
then and it is a big hit. It is great
as an hors d'oeuvre at parties.
Dill
Dip
This recipe comes from my sister Karen
and is very refreshing with vegetables or
bread and a favorite of mine for parties.
Football
Party Dip
Here is an easy recipe for football
parties. Men love this dip and you can
make it up in a hurry. Serve it in a
large deep platter with a bowl of Restaurant
Style Tortilla chips and you are set to go!
Spinach
Dip
This dip always gets great reviews from
everyone. I like to serve it with a
round loaf of seedless rye bread,
pumpernickel or crusty white. You can
hollow out the loafs and serve the dip
inside the hollow spot and the left over
pieces of bread are great for dipping.
Always a crowd pleaser!
Tina's
Fruit Dip
This wonderfully light and refreshing
fruit dip comes from my good friend and
Christian author, Tina Ray. Serve it
with your favorite fruit of the season or at
gatherings and parties. Who could
resist ripe red and plump strawberries
with this lovely dip? Not I.
Nellie's
Quick Taco Dip
My friend Nellie Fadely was a terrific
cook and there were some favorite recipes
that she shared with me. This recipe
is one of the favorites. So easy to
make and very refreshing. The men at
church always look for this recipe when ever
we have a function with food. Now,
that was a silly thing to say..........when
do Baptist's ever do anything with out
food!! Give it a try and you won't be
sorry.
